Is it true if you use dryer sheets with towels that it will make your towels less absorbent?

Dryer sheets won't make them less absorbent but liquid softeners certainly does. I use the sheets.:)Is it true if you use dryer sheets with towels that it will make your towels less absorbent?
Yep. After using them for a while the towels have a build up of the softener and it becomes harder to dry yourself off. If you like the softening of the dryer sheets just use them every other time and give them a chance to wash out the residue in between time.Is it true if you use dryer sheets with towels that it will make your towels less absorbent?
no, It is true that if u put too much fabric softener in the towels they wont absorb good, but that means using the liquid in the washer and adding 3 dryer sheets in the dryer then it will break down the absorbancie or the towels but nothing else will...
No that is the silliest thing I've ever heard of. None of my towels have lost their absorbent.
softner is good then towels
yes
Yes, if you use too many for too long.
I have used dryer sheets forever and haven't had any problems with the absorbency of the towels.
