I notice Obama didn't use the bible for his second swearing in. I wonder why? I don't think a true Christian should swear on the bible, but since he did (for appearances, it seems) and then didn't, I'm wondering how you true Christians feel.Would a true Christian not use the bible to swear in?
My answer is... No....No true Christians should swear especially on the bible.Would a true Christian not use the bible to swear in?
To be sworn in as a political thing or in court, a Bible is not needed and hasn't been needed for years!
It was his choice to use the Bible the first time and his choice to do it a second time--Bible already back where it came from, just did it to shut people up on both sides!
Obamanation ';IF'; and that's a big if he was a Christian why did he not say ';In Jesus Name'; You can not be a real christian and just accept false religions and false gods just so you can become President..
just another antichrist of our time but he is the strongest since nations and religions of all faiths accept him and believe he can give us change %26amp; hope. lol...
Only Jehovah %26amp; Jesus es love give me change %26amp; hope
i'm not a christian, but in my religion, swearing in the name of our holy book is forbidden. the book is meant for teachings and laws, so when we wanted to make a swear, we have to make in the name of our god. the god of you and i.
Just a reminder, that the whole thing is to satisfy the inbred fundamentalists.
No swearing on the bible. No swearing at all.
What's a ';true Christian';?
The second oath was merely pro forma.
