I heard that pens and markers cause cross contamination and that the piercer should use a toothpick dipped in ink instead of a pen. I have a couple of piercings but none of the piercers used this method. I'm planning on getting more piercings, but now I'm worried about this pen issue.
Is it really true that piercers should not use markers or pens, but use a tooth pick dipped in ink?
can I ask the piercer not to use a pen?Is it really true that piercers should not use markers or pens?
It is completely fine to use a marking pen if only used on you and not being used on client after client after client after client. I am not a fan of using tattoo ink to pierce. Is it really true that piercers should not use markers or pens?
Even if the pen or marker causes cross contamination, they usually wipe off a lot of it and clean the area again...at least mine did.
But I'm sure you can ask him about it, or bring your own pen.
YES YOU CAN ASK THE PIERCER WHAT HE USES, HE MAY US SOMEKING OF BODY PAINT. DIFFERENT SHOPS USES DIFFERENT THINGS.
GOOD LUCK!!
mines didnt have to mark anything shes that good.
