just wondering really. because i would like to get bigger biceps an my weights are to light, so im thinking of getting some that are right and if is true some that are a bit heavier just for my biceps. thanksIs it true if you use higher weights and smaller reps you gain muscle qiucker?
yes. with lower weights and more reps, you tone more than gain strength. i suggest finding the highest weight you can lift, and do that 10x. don't go around the circuit(don't do any machine) more than 3x. and make sure you eat plenty of protein and get a day of rest between each workout; lifting weights put tiny tears in your muscles and they need a day to heal.Is it true if you use higher weights and smaller reps you gain muscle qiucker?
yes it is. you want to do around 7 or 8 reps at a time and by the last one you should barely be able to lift it

You gain more mass, in that sense, equal strength though.
