Is it true you can use baby powder for oily hair?

My friend told me she uses baby powder for when her hair gets greasy, does that actually work and how long does it usually last?Is it true you can use baby powder for oily hair?
Yes it's true, but I've heard that it's not good to inhale baby powder, so putting it on your head would make it a bit difficult not to inhale. I found this article about it online and it seems that corn starch is much better to use and it costs less too! I'll post the link below for you to read. I also know that there are spray products our there called dry shampoos, I saw them while looking for hair spray once and I guess it's just an easier way to apply the powder to your hair, getting it more even and making the white color blend better, but I've never tried it so I don't really know how well they work! Yes, my sister uses it. It works, only for a day or so. I would suggest using an oily hair shampoo. then, if that doesn't help, go for the baby powder. Just dab some in your hand and rub it in to your part until it isnon-visible. (hint- it works better on blonde hair)

You just put about a quarter sized amount in. Less is more. People will be able to smell it if you use too much. Rub it in completely because it may leave your hair white and powdery.





For me, it usually lasts for the rest of the day.
Yeah, you can use it but if you have dark hair, forget about it. It will end up looking like you're wearing a powdered wig regardless of how much you brush. Better to take the same time (or less) and wash it in the first place.

Actually yes, it does! I am not sure about how long it lasts. But is is great and has no negative side effects.

I use baby powder because i don't want to wash my hair every 2days so i put baby powder on the roots! it would last 3-4days (in total, from my last wash) :)
